Ultrasound Technologist II Role

This is a dynamic role that involves performing sonography in accordance with the scope and standards of practice as well as the policies, values, and mission of our organization.

  • It requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • The technologist takes on call shift responsibilities and reviews patient history and physician's orders.
  • They educate patients regarding procedures and equipment and position them for imaging procedure(s).
  • Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Accredited Program: Ultrasound Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
