The Wet Flue Gas Desulfurization and Selective Catalytic Reduction projects at Plant Scherer Units 1 and 2 consist of the installation of electrical and instrumentation systems, mechanical systems, and SCR catalyst for the four SCR reactors, 136 catalyst modules per layer, two layers per reactor, two reactors per unit. Structural steel, including columns, posts/hangers, beams, horizontal bracing, trusses, vertical bracing, roof framing, monorails, handrails, grating, stairs, ladders and safety gates for the portion of the SCR reactor support above elevation 716 feet, SCR PEEC building (2), four FGD axial booster fans, and FGD flue gas ductwork. System booster fan area PEEC, absorber tower PEEC building, and Advatech recycle piping.
